filed under things you cannot say on FB, i must say that I PERSONALLY think that it *IS* the parents' fault when their kids mess up! especially when their UNDER 10 year old child is an absolute MEANIE (i want to say BITCH)!
today i met the mom of a kid who has been a little freaking bitchy brat toward my kid and now I totally understand why. Appparently the apple doesn't fall from the tree.
When i walked in to pick up my kid from said "brat's" birthday party, the Mom didn't know which one was mine....okay, i give her that since we never met and i dropped off Q without introducing myself to her (NOTE: i did introduce myself to the adult greeting people at the door). but she made no attempt to assist me....
So anyways, when I said (extending my hand, no less), "Hi, I'm Sheila", she promptly ignored me and continued in the conversation she had going when I walked in. I STILL do not know her name...
what the what!?!?
I AM SO FREAKING SICK OF SELF-CENTERED PEOPLE AND THE CHILDREN THEY SPAWN! what the hell is wrong with these people!!?!? are they above the rest of us? did nobody teach them courtesy or manners?
rant over...trying to get back to my positive, solutions-based personality..
NOBODY has a free pass to ignore TRUE values and common decency....so sick of my kids having to deal with these peoples' kids who do whatever they please!!! EXAMPLE is the greatest teacher...well,DUH, obviously they do NOT know this or do not CARE what they are teaching their kids. Those who think their virtue is intact b/c they go to church on Sunday, but the rest of the week they can do whatever they want are SERIOUSLY MISTAKEN and they are raising a bunch of BRATTY, BULLYing KIDS who are ruining our country!
