a rough thanksgiving....i kept really busy so i didn't dwell on the loss of Dad too much. i think he'd be most happy and proud if we had just a fun old good party and that's basically what we did. i'm glad i have been researching Buddhism lately and what Msgr. Marren said about praying to the dead (see an earlier post on my blog) b/c it's much easier to believe Dad is still around just not in the human body he used to inhabit. i told jack and quinn the other day that your soul is always here and its just inside your body to live here on Earth just like a spacesuit if you were on another planet.
This photo is from Thanksgiving 2008 in Atlanta.
i cannot imagine the amount of heartbreak all over the world from those who have lost their loved ones. i only hope they will find some peace and understanding like i have.
i don't know why anyone wastes anytime being negative....maybe once they have lost someone really special, they will undersand that it's not worth being upset and sad all the time??
